Just a quick notice to all our clients. Our offices will be closed from 5PM Thursday 17th November 2011 and will reopen 9AM Tuesday 22nd November 2011.
Our support centre will still operate but expect longer then usual delays while waiting for your support ticket to be answered. Please only submit a ticket if you have a serious emergency or wish to report an outage.
Your account manager will still be reachable on their mobiles throughout the weekend.
Just a final update for all the clients that have been effected by the downtime on our Australian based Shoutcast Servers.
The original plan was to do an OS update and upgrade both our shoutcast servers from Centos 5.7 (Fnal) to the new Centos 6.0 Release 1.0.1, however we quickly ran into trouble with unstable nodes and malfunctioning os kernals.
We have spent the last 3 days repairing these issues one by one and we are proud to let you know that we will start moving clients back to your new server before 9AM tommorow.
You will be emailed your login details once you have been moved to your new server. If you have any questions please let us know.

Just writing to let you know some good news that i have just handed down to our staff. We will be reviewing all cPanel Web-Hosting plans in the next few weeks in time for the new years rush. So stayed tuned to this thread and keep looking on the website.

As you may or may not been aware Aus Net Servers Australia has been making a huge number of changes to our core network this month, all these changes will all conenct when our new dark fibre network goes live in 2012.
Aus Net Servers Australia is well into its second phaze in reguards to our OS Image System.
All 2008 and upward servers will be enabled with OS Backups with the image storage on our local network as well as on a hidden partition on your server. This will take several weeks to roll out but when we get to your rack you will hear from us. No need to panic as we will be incontact when and if you are compatible for the upgrade.

We do not expect that the server will be down the entire time but it is likly that the servers will up and down as we migrate data and all our clients services from the old server to the new servers betwee the hours of 12AM – 6AM AEDST
We are allowing clients to request for us to move their services during this period to our US servers but this needs to be done by no later then Friday 1th of November 2011 by 5PM AEDST
During the upgrades we will be also upgrading to the newest stable build of CentovaCAST for our clients.
Please note that on Saturday the 30th and Sunday the 31st of october 2011 we will be conducting major OS upgrades to the new CENTOS 6 for all our Australian Shoutcast Servers.

Aus Net Servers Australia is proud to announce that its new backup system has now gone live to our shared and dedicated web hosting custmours. All Web-Hosting clients can rest easy knowing that their website is backed up on 3 intervals. Daily, Weekly & Monthly.
The backups are stored locally on the webserver as well as on our storage array. The backups are completed at 3AM on each cycle.
If you wish to have your sitge restored you can do so by logging into your client area and submitting a support ticket to our shared our dedicated support team.
