Upgrade To Centos 6.0.1 Stable

Aus Net Servers Australia is proud to announce that the CentOS devolpment team has finally released a CentOS 6.0 for x86-32 and x86-64 architectures. CentOS 6.0 is based on the upstream release EL 6.0 and includes packages from all variants of the operating system.

All upstream repositories have been combined into one, to make it easier for end users to work with. Since upstream has a 6.1 version already released, CentOS team will be using a Continous Release repository for 6.0 to bring all 6.1 and post 6.1 security updates to all 6.0 users, till such time as CentOS 6.1 is released itself.

Over the comming weeks we will be upgrading all our images in our repositories to Centos 6.0/6.1.

If you have any futher enquires or you would like your Dedicated Server / VPS Server upgraded to the new version please login to our client area and lodge a support ticket.

Please Note:  There is no compatibility issues at this stage with programs and software on the new version of Centos.
