Automated cPanel Backups

 

Aus Net Servers Australia is proud to announce that its new backup system has now gone live to our shared and dedicated web hosting custmours. All Web-Hosting clients can rest easy knowing that their website is backed up on 3 intervals. Daily, Weekly & Monthly.

The backups are stored locally on the webserver as well as on our storage array. The backups are completed at 3AM on each cycle.

If you wish to have your sitge restored you can do so by logging into your client area and submitting a support ticket to our shared our dedicated support team.

Upgrade To Centos 6.0.1 Stable

Aus Net Servers Australia is proud to announce that the CentOS devolpment team has finally released a CentOS 6.0 for x86-32 and x86-64 architectures. CentOS 6.0 is based on the upstream release EL 6.0 and includes packages from all variants of the operating system.

All upstream repositories have been combined into one, to make it easier for end users to work with. Since upstream has a 6.1 version already released, CentOS team will be using a Continous Release repository for 6.0 to bring all 6.1 and post 6.1 security updates to all 6.0 users, till such time as CentOS 6.1 is released itself.

Over the comming weeks we will be upgrading all our images in our repositories to Centos 6.0/6.1.

Please Note:  There is no compatibility issues at this stage with programs and software on the new version of Centos.

 

WHMCS Chat Addon

Aus Net Servers Australia has mirgrated from its old chat/ chat support system “LiveZilla” to our new chat system that is intergrated into our billing / sales and ordering system.

This new software will allow us to pull up your details directly if you log into your account and then click on the live support button.

There are still a few minor bugs with it but we expect to have them ironed out in the next few days.
